“I am very happy about my mum's safety at Westdale. I think the home gets an excellent balance between safety and maintaining residents' independence, something that can be difficult to achieve. I notice my mother is encouraged to move around freely, go out and about with her friends, but staff notice and act when on the odd occasion she decides to walk out on her own (which in her case would not be safe).”
